How a hail claim works at DentWorx

  1. File the claim. Call your insurance carrier (or we can help). It's a comprehensive claim — no fault, no premium hit.
  2. Bring us the car. Drop it off in Chandler, or we'll come to you anywhere in the Phoenix metro for the inspection.
  3. We map the damage. Every ding gets photographed and counted under proper lighting. The estimate goes straight to your carrier.
  4. Approval, then repair. Once your adjuster signs off, we get to work. Most jobs run 2–7 days depending on volume.
  5. You pay your deductible. We collect the rest from the carrier. You drive away with factory paint and a lifetime warranty.

Carriers we work with

All of them. State Farm, Geico, Progressive, USAA, Allstate, Farmers, Liberty Mutual, American Family, Travelers, Nationwide, and every regional carrier we've encountered.

What if some panels can't be PDR'd?

Severe hail can stretch metal beyond what PDR can recover. If a panel is past PDR, we'll tell you — and we'll either coordinate traditional bodywork through a partner shop on the same claim, or refer you out cleanly. We never sell PDR on a panel that won't hold the repair.

FAQ

Hail repair, answered.

Not sure what you're looking at? Text Jordan a photo of the dent and he'll give you a straight answer.

Will insurance cover hail damage repair?

Yes — hail is a comprehensive claim, which means it doesn't raise your rate and most carriers cover it minus your deductible. We bill the carrier directly so you don't front any cash.

How long does hail damage take to repair?

Light hail (10–30 dings) is usually 1–2 days. Severe hail (100+ dings across a roof, hood, and trunk) can run a week. We'll give you a firm timeline before you drop off.

Will my premium go up?

No. Hail is a comprehensive (not at-fault) claim, and carriers don't raise premiums based on comprehensive claims in Arizona.

Can you fix hail damage without repainting?

Yes — that's the entire point of paintless hail repair. We work each dent from the back of the panel and your factory paint stays exactly as it was. Carfax sees nothing.

What if my windshield or trim is damaged too?

We coordinate windshield replacement and trim work as part of the same insurance claim. You drop off once and pick up once.
